We founded this 501(c)3 non-profit organization in July 2020 following the loss of our beloved mom, daughter, grandma, sister, wife, and friend Shelly Wittig-Warr to a re-occurrence of her battle with cancer.

Shelly was a selfless woman who always put others before herself. She was the first to offer help to friends or family in need - whether it was a ride, meal, her time, or simply a listening ear. We have created the Shelly’s Warriors nonprofit organization to continue to honor her generous spirit by helping those in need.
Seeing a need for immediately accessible nonprofits to give to those undergoing cancer treatment in need of financial support, we formed our organization to provide small financial grants to those undergoing cancer treatment. We know there are many organizations in which to donate with similar missions, however in our research it seemed nearly impossible to find an organization in which one can actually apply to receive support.
While we know we may start small, we hope to grow this into an organization which will provide assistance to those in need for years to come with your support!

Our History
Our focus is to make financial support available to those undergoing cancer treatment and/or to their family. Whether needed for medical bills, transportation costs associated with treatment, or for general financial relief during an already difficult time, we want to help.
We are completely volunteer run and will cover our own operating

We are completely volunteer run and will cover our own operating expenses of the organization, site, and business expenses so that all donors are assured that 100% of proceeds will go directly to families in need.
With the consent of any recipients, we hope to share the stories of those we’ve helped!

We fund our mission primarily through our two annual Orlando fundraisers - a Golf Tournament each October and a Cornhole Tournament each April.
